1st goat pictured (1st 3 pictures) is Golden Plains FW Mayflower 2*P. Mayflower was born 3/21/20, so is 6 years old. She is currently in milk. She is usually friendly, but every now and then she decides to run from you. She normally just hops onto the milk stand and is also normally well behaved when being milked. Her teats are large, and honestly, a little on the wide side, but with nice open orifices, so she is fairly easy to milk. She milks between 5-6 lbs of milk a day (8 lbs is a gallon). She did have an injury or tooth abscess last year that left a small lump (I can barely feel it anymore) on the bottom of her jaw. I had my vet look at it and she said it may stay the way it is, or it could abscess out randomly and cause future problems, so she is priced very low. From what I see now, I do not expect it to cause any problems. Asking $200 for Mayflower.
2nd goat pictured (pictures 4-6) is Golden Plains CGIG Elsa. Elsa was born 3/2/24. She is a first freshener this year. In general, she is a little skittish in personality, but is also VERY food motivated. She jumps on the milk stand easily/willingly and has been well behaved with letting me milk her. She has been giving me a little less than 1/2 a gallon a day currently (which is acceptable for a first timer). Her udder is decent for a FF; however, her teats are quite small, but may improve with future freshenings (I have seen that happen). Asking $350 for Elsa.
Last goat pictured (last 3 pictures) is Golden Plains CGIG Phoebe. Phoebe was born 3/13/23. Phoebe was a first freshener last year and I was very pleased with her udder all around. Her production was what I expect out of my first fresheners (around 1/2 a gallon a day) and she raised her kids well. Phoebe unfortunately miscarried this year, so is currently dry. Phoebe is friendly enough, but doesn't really care to get a ton of attention. She was very well behaved on the milk stand last year and is also very food motivated. Asking $300 for Phoebe.
